Media Circle Parcel A, on the Boundary of one-north and Queenstown

Click Here for Enlarged Hudson Place Residences Condo Location Map
Hudson Place Residences occupies Media Circle Parcel A, on the line where one-north meets Queenstown in District 5. The site falls within the Queenstown planning area, so it sits inside a mature housing estate while facing directly onto Singapore’s innovation district.
The immediate surroundings split cleanly in two. On one side are the heritage black-and-white bungalows of Wessex Estate, which rise only two to three storeys, and the green spine of the Rail Corridor. On the other are the offices of Biopolis, Fusionopolis and Mediapolis, along with Kampong AI, Singapore’s first dedicated artificial intelligence hub. one-north is a designated car-lite district covering 230 hectares.
The nearest tall neighbours are low by city standards: Infinite Studios at 10 storeys, Alice @ Mediapolis and Tanglin Trust School at 11, and the Mediacorp campus at 12. Full travel times, schools and amenities are covered on the Hudson Place Residences Location Highlights page.
327 Homes in Eight Unit Types and 19 Layouts
Hudson Place Residences is made up of eight unit types spread across 19 individual layouts, from a 646 sqft 2 Bedroom Premium to a 2,196 sqft Penthouse. Two-bedroom homes make up the largest share of the development at 56% of all units.
| Unit Type | Layouts | Size | Units |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 Bedroom Premium | B1a, B1b, B1c, B1d | 60 sqm / 646 sqft | 105 |
| 2 Bedroom Premium + Study | B2, B3 | 64 sqm / 689 sqft | 78 |
| 3 Bedroom Deluxe | C1 | 83 sqm / 893 sqft | 14 |
| 3 Bedroom Premium | C2, C3 | 94 to 95 sqm / 1,012 to 1,023 sqft | 36 |
| 3 Bedroom Premium + Study | C4 | 98 sqm / 1,055 sqft | 21 |
| 4 Bedroom Premium | D1a, D1b | 107 sqm / 1,152 sqft | 26 |
| 4 Bedroom Suite + Flexi | D2a, D2b | 133 sqm / 1,432 sqft | 42 |
| Penthouse | PH1 to PH5 | 162 to 204 sqm / 1,744 to 2,196 sqft | 5 |
| Total | 19 layouts | 646 to 2,196 sqft | 327 |
By share of the development, 2 Bedroom Premium accounts for 32.1%, 2 Bedroom Premium + Study 23.9%, the three 3 Bedroom types together 21.7%, 4 Bedroom Suite + Flexi 12.8%, 4 Bedroom Premium 8% and the penthouses 1.5%. Layout drawings for every type are on the Hudson Place Residences Floor Plan page.
How the 18 Stacks Are Arranged
The development runs across 18 stacks: eight in Block 18, numbered #01 to #08, and ten in Block 20, numbered #09 to #18. Block 18 stacks run from level 2 to level 15 and Block 20 stacks from level 2 to level 23. Level 1 carries no homes in either block.
Four layouts appear in both blocks under the same type code. B1a runs the full height of Block 20 stack #09 and is mirrored in Block 18 stack #08. B1b runs Block 20 stack #15 and is mirrored in Block 18 stack #04. Between them those two layouts account for 70 of the 105 2 Bedroom Premium units. B3 is unusual in running three separate stacks within Block 20: #10, #13 and #14.
The Penthouses Take Two Stacks Each at the Top Floor
Each of the five penthouses spans two stacks on the topmost storey of its block, rather than sitting above a single column of units. This is the reason several stacks appear to stop one floor short on the distribution chart.
In Block 18, PH1 occupies stacks #01 and #02 at level 15, and PH3 occupies stacks #07 and #08 at level 15. Stacks #01, #02, #07 and #08 therefore end at level 14 beneath them. In Block 20, PH2 occupies stacks #12 and #13 at level 23, PH5 occupies stacks #15 and #16, and PH4 occupies stacks #17 and #18. Those six stacks end at level 22.
PH1, PH2 and PH3 are 5 bedroom layouts with 4 bathrooms and a study. PH4 and PH5 are 6 bedroom layouts with 4 bathrooms and a study, and are the only two penthouses with a private lift and private lift lobby.
Which Unit Types Include a Household Shelter
Seven of the 19 layouts include a household shelter and twelve do not. The shelter is provided in C2, C3, C4, D1a, D1b, D2a and D2b. It is not provided in any 2 Bedroom layout, meaning B1a, B1b, B1c, B1d, B2 and B3, and it is not provided in C1, the 3 Bedroom Deluxe.
C1 is worth singling out because it is the only 3 Bedroom layout without one. Buyers comparing C1 against C2, C3 or C4 on price alone should factor that in.
48 Facilities Across Eight Named Zones at Hudson Place Residences
Hudson Place Residences carries 48 numbered facilities arranged into eight named zones, spanning the ground level and an upper first-storey terrace. The development has two swimming pools, two clubhouse settings and a full-size tennis court, which is a generous spread for a one-north site of this size. Lifting both towers clear of the ground floor is what makes the room for it, and it also improves airflow and opens up views from the lower units.
Hudson Arrival (Ground Level) is the entrance sequence, made up of an Arrival Court, a sculpture feature, a water terrace and an arrival lounge.
The Pools (Ground Level) centre on a 50m Main Pool with its own pool deck, spa seats and an aqua gym, alongside bubble jets, a separate Social Pool and Social Deck, showers, a BBQ pavilion, an all-day dining area, a pool side counter and a drinking fountain.
The Social Courts (Ground Level) offer a Swing Garden, Study Pods and a Reading Lounge for quieter everyday use.
Hudson Club (Ground Level) is the main indoor clubhouse, with a gym, changing rooms, steam rooms and a social lounge, together with two function spaces, The Atlas Club and The Metropolitan Club, both opening onto a shared courtyard garden. Both function rooms come fitted with an electric hob and integrated downdraft hood, an oven, a microwave, an integrated fridge and a warming drawer. The second also has a screen with plug-and-play connectivity for presentations and video calls.
Hudson Green (Ground Level) covers an outdoor fitness corner and outdoor smart gym, together with a pets’ drinking fountain, pets’ paw wash, bicycle parking and a bicycle service station.
Hudson Linear Park (Ground Level) is geared towards families, with a toddler playground, an adventure playground and a nature boardwalk.
Hudson Plaza (Ground Level) is the retail component, comprising a community plaza, an open lawn, retail space and washrooms. It sits directly alongside Bloomsbury Shoppes, the retail podium of the neighbouring Bloomsbury Residences, on a connected ground-level frontage.
Hudson Terrace (Upper First Storey) is the outdoor recreation deck, with a full-size tennis court, table tennis, outdoor chess, an outdoor dartboard, an outdoor lounge and dining area, a BBQ chef’s counter with dining pavilion, and a rooftop lounge.
The Retail Space Is Common Property, Not a Separate Owner
The roughly 400 sqm of commercial space at Hudson Plaza is held under a single strata title and run by the residential MCST. Rental income from the shops goes into MCST funds and helps defray maintenance costs for residents. This is an unusual arrangement for a new launch, where ground-floor retail is more commonly sold off separately, and it is one of the few structural features of the development that directly affects what owners pay each month.
Residents reach the shops through a lift and side gate rather than having to walk out to the road, and a 3.6m covered walkway runs along the retail frontage. A public lift connects the side gate down to Portsdown Road, which sits about 3 metres below the site.
Kitchen, Bathroom and Wardrobe Fittings
Kitchen Finishes Are the Same in Every Unit
Every kitchen at Hudson Place Residences is finished in timber-look laminate with an anti-fingerprint surface, LED under-cabinet lighting, a quartz countertop and backsplash, and a pull-out sauce rack. Flooring is 600 x 600mm porcelain tile in the main kitchen, stepping up to 600 x 1200mm porcelain tile across the living, dining and dry kitchen areas in the unit types that have a dry kitchen.
Kitchens and bathrooms are naturally ventilated in the 3 Bedroom, 4 Bedroom and Penthouse layouts. The 3 and 4 Bedroom types also get a separate WC and yard alongside the dry kitchen.
Cooking Appliances Depend on the Unit Type
Appliance provision is not uniform across the development, and this is the specification difference most worth checking before you commit to a layout. Two-bedroom homes come with an induction hob and a convection oven. Three-bedroom, four-bedroom and penthouse homes come with a FOTILE gas hob and a combi steam oven instead.
| Appliance | 2 Bedroom types | 3 and 4 Bedroom types | Penthouse |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hob | Induction hob | Gas hob | Gas hob |
| Oven | Convection oven | Combi steam oven | Combi steam oven |
| Cooker hood | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Fridge | Free-standing | Free-standing; second integrated fridge in 4 Bedroom Suite + Flexi | Free-standing and integrated |
| Dishwasher | Not provided | 4 Bedroom Suite + Flexi only | Built-in |
| Laundry | Combi washer dryer | Combi washer dryer | Separate washer and dryer |
| Additional | – | – | Built-in coffee machine, wine chiller |
Where a FOTILE gas hob is fitted, it carries 12 built-in safety protections, a five-layer composite glass surface, a flameout sensor and a child lock. The FOTILE range hood is rated at up to 96.9% filtration and uses noise-reduction engineering. The FOTILE combi oven offers a steam-bake function, 3D stereo heating and 55 preset recipes. SMEG appliances also feature across the development.
Bathrooms Run AXOR Hansgrohe and LAUFEN
Bathrooms are fitted with AXOR Hansgrohe taps and fittings paired with LAUFEN sanitary ware manufactured in Europe. Master bathrooms include an overhead shower. Walls are 600 x 1200mm porcelain tile and floors 300 x 600mm porcelain tile, and every mirror cabinet is fitted with LED lighting above a quartz countertop, backsplash and shower ledge.
The two largest penthouses, PH4 and PH5, are the only homes with a dual basin and bathtub in the master bathroom. The 4 Bedroom Suite + Flexi layouts include a third bathroom.
Wardrobes and Bedroom Flooring
Master bedrooms in selected unit types come with a full-height built-in wardrobe with sliding doors, an aluminium recessed handle and a leather-look laminate door finish. Inside, it carries LED lighting in the compartment, a lockable internal drawer, a metal shelf, robe hooks and deep drawers measuring roughly 420mm wide by 500mm deep by 180mm high. This wardrobe is not fitted in every layout, so it is worth confirming against your preferred unit at the showflat.
A walk-in wardrobe at the master bedroom is provided in the two 4 Bedroom Suite + Flexi layouts and in all five penthouses. PH4 and PH5 add a second walk-in wardrobe at the junior master. Bedroom flooring throughout the development is vinyl.
Smart Home Provisions, Service Robots and Green Features
Every home at Hudson Place Residences comes with smart home provisions that let residents control the digital lockset and the air-conditioning from a mobile app. Each unit also has a ceiling fan in the living area, which buyers may opt out of, and a dedicated cubby sized for a robot vacuum.
Beyond the individual unit, the development includes a set of service robots run by the managing agent: parcel delivery bots, swimming pool cleaning bots, common area cleaning bots and a tennis ball picker bot. The gym adds smart fitness mirrors, and the grounds include soundproof, air-conditioned office cabins for residents who work from home. Rental for the cleaning and delivery robots is complimentary for the first year of occupation. The make, model, brand and technology of these robots are subject to change and to the managing agent’s own terms.
Energy and Sustainability Provisions
Hudson Place Residences is fitted throughout with NEA 5-tick air-conditioning, energy-efficient lifts and 100% LED lighting, and carries a rooftop solar PV system that offsets energy use across the shared facilities. The facade and unit layouts are designed together to reduce heat gain, and ceiling fans in the living areas support airflow without additional cooling. Fittings across the development draw on Green Label products certified by the Singapore Green Building Council.
